It’s late and it’s my turn to walk the dogs in the morning.

I wonder why so often we’re unhappy yet it takes so long to do anything about it. Inertia is a powerful thing. When you’re stationary, and have been for awhile, it’s hard to get moving. In so many ways. But when you finally DO move, you wonder why it took so long.

Today I went back to the gym after a week of sheer laziness and moping. As usual, I hated it immensely until it was over and then I felt like superwoman, ready to conquer the world. And when you start to feel good again, you can’t help but hope that it will spill over into other areas of your life where movement is lacking.

Well, that’s what I’m hoping at least.
